I am an encaustic artist, working primarily on birch board and ceramics. I co-own Gallery 7six5 with my artist son, Benny Archer in Watsons Creek, Victoria. I have a home studio, where I create and also hold small (up to two people) encaustic workshops. For larger groups, I use the studio space at Gallery 7six5.
Lisa Ferrari is an encaustic wax artist. She began using oils and watercolour in 2010, having lessons with Nell Frysteen and Glynis Brown, both renowen Nillumbik artists. She discovered encaustic wax in 2020 and has completed online courses with USA encaustic artist Alicia Tormey. She has also completed the Ireland based online course Painting with Fire 2020/21, 2021/22 and 2022/23. She now teaches encaustic painting in her home studio and for larger groups at Gallery 7six5, which she co-owns with artist son, Benny Archer.
We would like to pay our respects to the traditional owners of the land on which our building stands, their leaders, past, present and emerging.
