In this 10 week course, you’ll be invited to explore various ways of interpreting the landscape. For those new to the class, the aim of the course is to equip you with a toolkit of ideas that can help you out in the field en plein air, or offer you new approaches you can further explore in the studio. The first half of the term will focus on building up various skills and ways of seeing, with the second half of term encouraging you to choose your own projects to develop further. Ongoing students will continue exploring their own directions in more of an open studio type environment. Lana will be working with oils, but acrylic painters are also welcome.
