IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR VICTORIAN ARTISTS SOCIETY

Dear VAS Members and Supporters,

In response to the Victorian State Government declaring a state of emergency due to the COVID-19 (coronavirus), the Victorian Artists Society has decided to close the Victorian Artists Society building at 430 Albert Street, East Melbourne, for four weeks, pending advice from the Department of Health and Human Services.

The decision to close the building is designed to protect the health and wellbeing of its staff, 500 members, artists, teachers, students, volunteers and visitors.

This means our current activities regarding art classes, exhibitions, workshops, life drawing and paint outs will cease operation.

Members communication during this period will remain the same, via phone, email, and regular updates in newsletters.
