I- prefer to work from the imagination.
- look to the German Expressionists and the Fauves.
- am interested in the area bordering representation and abstraction.
- try to leave space in my paintings to allow for interpretation and engagement.
Education
I was drawing as a boy in the 50's, started painting in the 70's and completed a Diploma of Art at (now) RMIT Bundoora in the 80's.
Am in local and overseas collections.
