Description
Take the challenge of flower painting in oil.
This masterclass will concentrate on the colourful effects of flower painting, approached in a tonal impressionist manner.
We will study arrangement options for pleasing compositions and how to capture the elusive characteristics of delicate floral subjects with clean fresh colour, texture and depth.
Floral subjects will be provided and painted directly from life.
In the words of Claude Monet…”I must have flowers, always, and always.”
This masterclass will be held in our upstairs galleries alongside our 2026 Winter Select Exhibition. Observers are welcome!
