Term 2 will expand on our graphite pencil practice using key elements like line, shape, space, texture, tone, shading, composition and perspective. Each week builds on the previous and this term we will focus on putting our pencils to test drawing landscapes with a particular emphasis on trees. A limited palette (one or two) colours in colour pencil will be included in the later stages of the term.

During the term and throughout the year you will build on strong drawing foundations, developing your drawings beyond mere representation, working through inquiry, expression process and idea. Come with an open mind and a willingness to try new things as you experiment with your ideas while enjoying the support and structure of tutored sessions.
