You are cordially invited to the BUILDING RESTORATION CELEBRATION in conjunction with the presentation of the 2019 MAVIS LITTLE ARTIST OF THE YEAR AWARD sponsored by the Hansen Little Foundation and the Victorian Artists Society 2019 SCULPTOR OF THE YEAR AWARD.

The Society will be proudly celebrating the official opening of the restored Heritage and National Trust Listed Building.

The 2019 Mavis Little Artist of the Year Exhibition and Awards Presentation

The Victorian Artists Society is pleased to announce the finalist artists for the prestigious 2019 Mavis Little Artist of the Year Award Exhibition, sponsored by the Hansen Little Foundation, and the finalists for the 2019 Victorian Artists Society Sculptor of the Year Award.

Congratulations to all who have been successful in being selected for the 2019 Mavis Little Artist of the Year Award Exhibition.

Jennifer Fyfe, Julian Bruere, Mary Hyde, Chris White, Gregory R. Smith, Ray Wilson, Mike Kowalski, Carole Milton, Elizabeth Moore Golding, Ron Reynolds, Barbara McManus, Jo Reitze, Lisa Wang, Faramarz Mokhtarpour, Des Parkin, Bob Pelchen, Shirley Fisher, Clive Sinclair, Ben Winspear, Rose Draffin, Adam Frith, Don James, Adrian Johnson, Anne Melloy, It Hao Pheh, David Chen, Egidia Yorke, Rachel Dettmann Smith, Jane Flowers, Gwendoline Krumins, and Shirley Straford.

Congratulations to the following artists who have have been successful in being selected for the 2019 Victorian Artists Society Sculptor of the Year Award.

Ellen Jenkins, Robert House, Allan Goedecke, Ivan Horacek, Betty Collier, Manfred Tursky, Maxine Wain, Suzanne Kaldor and Anthony Kim.

The Mavis Little Artist of the Year Award Exhibition is the final Exhibition of the year, featuring selected Victorian Artists Society artists who have received the highest number of votes by members and artists from two select exhibitions (Autumn and Spring) during the year.

Peer votes from the 2019 Mavis Little Artist of the Year Award Exhibition are added to the yearly votes. The Award of $10,000 is presented to the artist who has acquired the most votes.

The Victorian Artists Society 2019 Sculptor of the Year Award, (comprising a Trophy and a one year membership) will be presented to the Sculptor who has received the highest number of votes throughout the year including votes gained from this final Exhibition.
