Description

This two-day workshop is designed to introduce and better understand the basics of wet into wet watercolour.

The class begins with exercises exploring colour, tone and watercolour behaviour, followed by demonstrations and stepped paintings with splash and spontaneity.

We will explore Landscape, Seascape and a Rural Shed subject with consideration of composition and techniques.

Participants will be guided and supported by Julian but encouraged to explore further with some individuality in their own work.

Brushes, Paper, and Palette will be discussed while demonstrating and assisting various techniques of the medium.

This is an ideal class for those looking to re-visit watercolour basics and understanding of wet into wet painting.
