To help protect our community’s health against COVID-19, from 5 November 2021 all visitors to the Victorian Artists Society galleries, including staff, students in art classes and artists involved in exhibitions, will need to be fully vaccinated and must provide a COVID-19 vaccine certificate or a valid medical exemption upon entry to the galleries.
These sessions are untutored and suitable for artists who can work confidently on their own. All ages and experience levels are welcome, for those who want to draw the human form in a relaxed environment.
Life Drawing Sessions will resume on Wednesday 2 February 2022.
Artists need to bring their own materials. We supply easels and tables.
The same model is used two weeks in a row. Portrait sessions are conducted in one sitting.
Non-members are welcome to attend up to 3 sessions after which time they need to become a member to continue. Cash or eftpos is to be paid to the class monitor on the day. Discounted rates apply when pre-paying for five sessions.
No bookings are required for Wednesday Sessions.
Bookings are required. Pay on the day.

We would like to pay our respects to the traditional owners of the land on which our building stands, their leaders, past, present and emerging.
