My connection to the Far South of Tasmania has been growing for the last 5 years since we moved here with my family. I have walked and explored local bush tracks and the stories they hold from the times we can no longer return to. Every walk has become a discovery of not only objects humans leave behind leaving a trace in the natures womb but it has also been a self discovery. The meditative state of the bush draws out thoughts that would have never appeared in my consciousness during the busy hours of the day. When I am here I explore not only the textures, compositions and shades but I also self reflect and dwell on the meanings of my actions.
