Students of this short course will paint along with award winning artist & teacher David Chen to achieve dynamic, expressive landscapes in oils.

Classes focus on developing your practical skills in oil painting. David draws emphasis away from a restrictive focus on painting "what" you see. Instead, learn "how" to paint with attention to colour and light.

The class will provide answers to questions you might ask with painting, not only to know "how" but also "why". As you pay attention to and study the paint-on critique that accompanies the course, David will pinpoint and solve the kind of problems virtually everyone struggles with in regards to oil painting and colour.
