The inaugural VAS Watercolour Exhibition highlights the diverse talents of contemporary watercolourists in Victoria.

This exhibition will feature the best entries from both Victorian Artists Society & Watercolour Society of Victoria exhibiting members as well as invited special guests.

Entry Information

The inaugural VAS Watercolour Exhibition highlights the diverse talents of contemporary watercolourists in Victoria.

Please submit your application via the form linked below.

Entry Details:

  • This exhibition will be capped at 75 works, selected from online submissions, by a small committee of watercolour painters.

  • Entry is $110 per selected artwork. There is no fee to apply. The entry fee will include framing, guaranteeing a uniform and stylish display.

  • In anticipation of the number of applicants, 1 work per artist can be considered.

  • Entries must be a watercolour work delivered unframed to VAS. All works must be on a Half Sheet Watercolour Paper to fit mount window size 53cm x 35cm.

  • Entry is open to current members of either the Victorian Artists Society or the Watercolour Society of Victoria.

  • Applications close Sunday 23 March.

  • Successful participants will be advised by 26 March, with accepted works to be delivered to the VAS on Thursday 3 April to allow time for framing.

  • The exhibition will be displayed from 14-25 May 2025 in our Hammond & McCubbin Galleries
