Kenneth Jack was the one who decided it should run nation-wide. Kenneth Jack would have turned 100 this year on October 5.
David Jack, his son who is a well-known artist in his own right, said that the exhibition was an opportunity to showcase the wide range of work by Kenneth Jack which includes drawings through to watercolours and works in mixed media. The exhibition will include some of his earlier works as a student and as a child – with the works “overflowing the gallery with their presence.”
The drawing prize is open to members of AGRA.
Details of the drawing prize can be found at ww.agra.org.au
