Born in Victoria Ron Crawford studied under Max Meldrum. A floral, still life and portrait artist working in oils he worked and taught from his studio in Melbourne. He was a member of the Melbourne Twenty Painters Society and operated the ‘Ron Crawford School of Painting’ (Meldrum School of Tonal Impressionism).
