Clivia, a very common plant that you can find in Australian garden, also known as Natal lily or bush lily. The spiritual meaning of the blossoms is very positive—representing some noble character.
Its symbolic meaning coming from the appearance—tall, straight leaves, symbolized fortitude, unyielding, modest and gentle.
In many culture, clivia flowers are also seen as a luck symbol for happiness, wealth and abundance, which is also one of the reasons why clivia plant is widely loved.
I have this clivia plant at my front yard which bloom gloriously every year. It has become a routine of mine to paint the first bloom of the plants I owned.
Flower always bloom in their own time without competing with other flowers. May we all bloom in our time in the best season. Hope you enjoy this artwork of mine.
