VAS is offering a new artist opportunity in the Hammond Gallery: Spotlights.
Spotlights is a showcase-style hanging giving seven artists 5 metres each of dedicated wall space to present a cohesive body of work: your own mini exhibition within the gallery, without the cost and logistics of a full hire.
Two timeslots are available:
26 May – 1 June 2026
9 – 16 June 2026
A gallery fee of $200 applies per artist, covering installation and an opening night.
This is an ideal opportunity for artists looking to test a new body of work, build their exhibition profile, or present a focused selection of pieces in a professional gallery setting. Places are limited to seven artists per timeslot.
To apply, complete the application form including work samples and your preferred timeslot. Note that while wall position within the gallery is not artist-selected (spacing and placement will be curated across the group as a whole) each artist retains their dedicated 5 metres of uninterrupted hanging space.
All sales are subject to the standard VAS commission of 28%. VAS presentation standards apply, including framing or finished edges. Full exhibition terms and conditions are available for your reference.
