In this piece, titled 'Shoreline Solitude', l sought to capture the quiet strength of a vessel at rest. The heavy impasto brushstrokes and turbulent sky represent the storms the boat has weathered, while its position on the sand reflects a moment of hard earned stillness. It is a tribute to the resilience found in the aftermath of the tide.
