In isolation without a haircut, my hair became curly for the first time. This gouache Self-Portrait records the new me in these ‘unprecedented’ times. I freely painted myself, reflected in the wardrobe mirror in front of my large oil painting. Its vibrancy contrasts with my white hair and dark clothing.
