Scott Bonanno
Education
Scott Bonanno is a Melbourne-based artist working primarily in oils, with a focus on portraiture, still life and observational painting from life. Since beginning his painting practice in 2023, he has developed his work through independent study, regular studio practice and workshops with artists including Jess Le Clerc and Hannah Sutton.
His evolving influences span both traditional and contemporary figurative painting, with a particular interest in expressive brushwork and careful observation of light and form.
