The artwork ‘Sanctuary’ is a limited edition print. The artwork was inspired by the beautiful colours of our Australian native birds following a visit to the Healesville Sanctuary. The use of black lines surrounding the wing structures is intended to convey a sense of protection. The beauty of colour is even more striking against the strong use of black. The colours depicted are a representation of our Australian native birds, and the element of protection is even more poignant given our recent Bushfires, and their impact on Australian wildlife.
