Richard Latimer (b. 1995), although trained as a draftsman, has been producing oil paintings in the spirit of the 19th and 20th century impressionists for close to 10 years. His work, which features broad simplification and visible, suggestive brushstrokes, seeks to delight in light and colour.
A trained draftsman working in Architecture for 8 years, has been also painting seriously for 10+ years in the spirit of Australian, Russian & French impressionists. Plein air & studio painter. My heroes are Willard Leroy Metcalf, Childe Hassam, Joaquín Sorolla & Stapleton Kearns.
We would like to pay our respects to the traditional owners of the land on which our building stands, their leaders, past, present and emerging.
