My intention was for this landscape to be less a physical place and more an emotional expression. The restrained composition evokes the timeless beauty of the Australian Red Centre where colour carries the weight of memory and experience. The luminous reds, oranges and pinks suggest a landscape shaped by age, sunlight and resilience, while the elevated horizon creates a feeling of distance and contemplation.
