Philip Thomson is one very unique individual, being one of the very few remaining bullockies in Australia. Using his bullocks to sustainably log timber in the Gold Coast Hinterland and do demonstrations at many events around the country. He was awarded an OAM recently for his commitment to the CFA. But the reason for painting him is simply because he is genuinely a great person and I'm proud to call him friend.
