A gloomy day on the Maribyrnong River did not diminish the inspiration invoked by the dignity of these pelicans. The image of the pelicans on the Maribyrnong River expresses my emotional response to the birds contemplating the river and its bounty for fishing birds at Footscray. Melbourne's lockdown intensified the exhilaration of engaging with the nature within 5 kilometres from home.
