Ted Dansey started work as a ticket writer, moved to freelance sign writing, graphic design, art direction and eventually to artist and teacher. For eleven years he the Secretary/Manager of the Victorian Artists Society, winning the Artist of the Year Award in 2007. He became a Fellow of the VAS in 2011 and has taught watercolour ever since.
