Lucy Maddox is a contemporary painter in Melbourne, Australia, whose practice focuses on the human figure, connection and the senses. Having finished her studies in Visual Arts at RMIT in 2020, her work has appeared in group shows around Australia, and in 2022 she completed two solo exhibitions in Melbourne, “Hunger” and “Tender Place," as well as another solo show "Bonne Vivante" in 2025.

She has been a finalist in numerous local and national art prizes, including the Wyndham Art Prize, the Banyule Award for Works on Paper, and the Lyn McCrea Memorial Drawing Prize.
