My 21 year old son is living in an alpine town in British Columbia called Revelstoke. He was thrilled to step outside one evening after a night out and see the Northern Lights for the first time. The photo he sent me was the inspiration for this painting where I attempted to capture the magic of aurora borealis dancing in the night sky.
