Louis Sauzier

I was born and bred on the island of Mauritius where I learnt the first elements of art from my father. Later, on arrival to Australia in 1967, I started exhibiting in popular weekend exhibitions (rotary etc) and in 2008 joined AGRA where I have been showing my work until early last year. In the course of the last 40 years I have achieved what I believe to be an excellent level of skill and collected many awards and prizes along the way. However I believe that I am very much at a learning stage and consider the VAS a perfect institution within which I could continue to improve my skills.
