My visit to the Blue Lotus Watergarden in summer was a great inspiration to this series of lotus artwork. The pop of pink that is the lotus flower against the backdrop of unruly lotus pads all but snuff out any glimmer of water. The thriving vegetation overflow around the edges of the canvas. 3 small canvases tie in as a triptych but each on its own can make an individual statement.
