Seascape inspired by summers spent on the Mornington Peninsula. I am captivated by the Peninsula’s enormous skies, shifting cloud patterns and distant horizons, and my own sense of smallness in so much space. I’ve always loved walking along the beach in the late afternoon or early evening, and watching the sky and clouds shift in colour as the sun goes down or a storm comes in. This painting is inspired by those walks and moments of reflection.
