I painted 'Lago di Pontecosi' in an Impressionistic style, while painting en plein air in Italy and completed it in the studio. The lake, with an old bridge and church, was in a beautiful spot near the small town of Pontecosi. The underdrawing was in watercolour pencil with a series of Acrylic washes in yellow and blue. Completed in Acrylic paint with a drybrush technique and finally an acrylic glaze.
