Opening Event on 10 October 6:30pm
Location: McCubbin Gallery
The workshop began with guided drawing activities, where students explored form, colour, light, texture, and space, progressing from black-and-white sketches to vibrant, full-colour compositions. Fekete demonstrated various watercolour techniques, encouraging students to experiment before designing their final pieces. Following the workshop, students independently shaped their final works, layering background washes, and fine-tuning intricate details.
This exhibition features drawings, cyanotypes, and watercolour pieces from both our extension SEEK Art class and Year 11 VCE Art Creative Practice students, showcasing their artistic creativity and technical skill. The College is excited to continue its partnership with VAS, providing students with valuable exposure to and a deeper understanding of the arts industry.
Opening night Thursday 10 October with refreshments from 6:30pm, performances from Tomfoolery, Cantabile and Jazz combo. Speeches commence at 7pm.
We would like to pay our respects to the traditional owners of the land on which our building stands, their leaders, past, present and emerging.
