I was born in Melbourne in 1950 and left school when I was 16. I started an apprenticeship in the printing industry that was excruciatingly boring and unrewarding. Luckily, in a dungeon like room, I met Terry and Terry’s dungeon was a darkroom. My love of photography started there when I was 17.
After travelling Australia, and a good part of the world, in 1975 I returned home. Cinematography kept me busy the next 50 years, filming Hi end commercial, feature and documentary work. I am an inductee into the Australian Cinematographers Society, Hall of Fame and Life Member.
My journey into personal art began in about 2017 with an interest in glass art, some of which can be viewed on my instagram link. I began painting around 2020 and I am self taught.
We would like to pay our respects to the traditional owners of the land on which our building stands, their leaders, past, present and emerging.
