Art is my happy place and always has been. I love to draw, paint and create and am constantly inspired by all that is around me. I am equally happy using watercolour, acrylic, oil or pastel as well as a variety of other drawing mediums. I am passionate about growing as an artist and eagerly seek out workshops and classes to enrich my skills as well as creating art every day in my own studio. Subject matter is diverse and I can be equally entranced by the play of light on the landscape as well as the gestures and poses of figurative work. There are so many beautiful sights in this world I will never get around to painting them all, but I will keep trying and thoroughly enjoy the journey along the way!
I was born in Casterton, Victoria and attended both primary and secondary school there, studying art and art history in the final years of high school. I majored in Art at Toorak Teachers' College, specifically jewelry-making and then painting. All further art education has been via workshops and classes. I currently live in Bayside, Melbourne and belong to a number of Art groups both local and regional.
We would like to pay our respects to the traditional owners of the land on which our building stands, their leaders, past, present and emerging.
