Thursday 16 April, 6pm
Location: Cato Gallery

What remains of the back streets, the alleys, the old buildings found in our wonderful city? From a seedy back alley, to a soaring cathedral, an old train crossing or a new vision of a telephone pole, these works illustrate the beauty and interest found in the ignored, forgotten and overlooked parts of Melbourne. The paper used for these works has been created from my old, unwanted drawings, workshop pieces, sketches and failures. Thes drawings are creating something new and transforming discarded paper into drawings of endurance.

We would like to pay our respects to the traditional owners of the land on which our building stands, their leaders, past, present and emerging.
