This is a plein air painting of an old mill in Grenfell NSW. I was inspired by the late afternoon light falling on these towering historic buildings with the moon floating in blue sky in the background. The presence of the moon added a tension between these industrial looking buildings and the forces of nature, reminding my of their agricultural connection.
