Ghazal's practice is grounded in drawing and painting as sustained acts of looking.
Her work does not begin with a fixed narrative or message. Instead, it develops through observation, repetition, and the physical discipline of making. Across different subjects and formats, she is interested in presence how forms occupy space, how silence can be felt, and how time settles into surfaces.
Alongside her studio practice, Ghazal has been teaching drawing and painting for over two years, working with students of all ages. Teaching forms a parallel way of thinking through making, reinforcing attention, patience, and the fundamentals of seeing.

We would like to pay our respects to the traditional owners of the land on which our building stands, their leaders, past, present and emerging.
