Geetanjali Gandhi Ahluwalia

Art has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. What began as a childhood fascination with colour and painting grew into a lifelong creative journey across India, New Zealand and Australia. Over the years, I have explored a wide range of artistic practices including abstract and contemporary painting, acrylics, oils, mixed media, textural and palette knife techniques, glass painting, and traditional Indian art forms such as Warli, Madhubani and Tanjore-inspired art.

With more than a decade of professional artistic practice, I continue to be inspired by the endless possibilities of creative expression. Colour, texture, movement and storytelling are at the heart of my work. I approach each piece with curiosity and intuition, allowing it to evolve through layers of exploration and discovery. Drawing from both contemporary and traditional influences, I seek to create work that feels authentic and meaningful while leaving space for personal reflection and interpretation.

Exhibiting, teaching and engaging with creative communities has strengthened my belief that art is a universal language. Through Portrayal by Geet, I continue to learn, evolve and create, embracing art as a way to express what words often cannot and to celebrate the shared experiences that connect us all.
