Join artist Nic Plowman for an engaging life drawing workshop that encourages play, experimentation, and a fresh way of approaching the figure. Across a series of guided exercises, participants will explore how traditional drawing techniques can be stretched, reworked, and transformed to uncover new ways of seeing and making. The workshop concludes by taking drawings in an unexpected direction, opening up new creative possibilities in both process and outcome. Nic Plowman leads the life drawing program at The Art Room in Melbourne and has facilitated workshops at the NGV, nationally, and internationally. He was recently Highly Commended in the Dobell Drawing Prize, currently touring regional New South Wales.
