Fereshteh Angel Pezeshki
Fereshteh Pezeshki is a Melbourne-based artist, illustrator, and art educator with over 30 years of experience in visual arts. Originally from Iran, she holds degrees in Visual Arts, Illustration, and Visual Arts Education.
Her artistic practice explores nature, cultural identity, and the relationship between people and their environment. Through painting and illustration, she combines storytelling with expressive use of colour and form, influenced by both her Persian heritage and her experiences in Australia.
Alongside her studio practice, Fereshteh has extensive experience teaching art to children, youth, and adults, and continues to lead workshops that encourage creativity and self-expression.
She is currently based in Melbourne and seeks to actively engage with the Victorian arts community through exhibitions and collaborative opportunities.
Education
Fereshteh Pezeshki holds a Bachelor of Visual Arts from Al Zahra University and a Master’s degree in Illustration from Azad University in Iran. She later completed postgraduate studies in Visual Arts Education at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), Australia. Her academic background combines fine art practice, illustration, and art education, supporting her long-standing career as an artist and educator.
