VAS Young Artist SELECT EXHIBITION

The Victorian Artists Society invites emerging artists of 25 years and under to submit their wall hanging or sculpture work for consideration in our first Young Artist Select Exhibition. High school students do not need to be VAS members to enter this exhibition.

This exhibition features a $200 first prize, judged by VAS Teacher Lucy Maddox.

CALL FOR ENTRIES

Young Artist works selected for exhibition will be displayed in the VAS Cato Gallery. You can bring your artwork into the building for the VAS Young Artist Select Exhibition before 7pm on Wednesday 10 April.

The entry fee is $10 per artwork and can be paid upon dropping off your works. Artists offering works for sale should nominate a price at the time of entry. VAS take a commission of 28% on all sold works.

Each artist may submit 1- 3 wall hanging work and one sculpture work. Hanging works must be ready to hang at a gallery standard—either suitably framed or with finished edges on unframed canvas.

Eligible works not selected for the open Autumn Select Exhibition may be considered for the Young Artist Exhibition.
