Please note the new entry deadline of 2pm on Thursday 11 August. This change is due to the time constraints of hanging and cataloguing the exhibition. This new deadline will apply to all VAS exhibitions.

We are unable to accept late entries.

The Judge for this year's Portrait Exhibition will be Lewis Miller. Lewis is represented by 'Australian Galleries'.

The Portrait Exhibition features the Nada Hunter award for $1000 as well as new prizes for 2nd, $200; 3rd, $150; and Sculpture, $150.

The opening event for the VAS Portrait Exhibition is on Tuesday 16 August from 7pm.

CALL FOR ENTRIES

You can bring your artwork into the building for the VAS Portrait Exhibition on either:

Wednesday 10 August between 11am and 3pm or Thursday 11 August from 11am and before 2pm.

Members may submit up to 3 artworks or sculptures.

The entry fee is $10 per artwork and can be paid at reception or by using the online entry form here. 

ONLINE GALLERY

You have the OPTION of entering work on our online gallery. 

Click on the link to view the instructional video below showing you how to enter your art work online. Online entries must be uploaded to the online gallery by Tuesday 9 August for processing.

Please note that this is a two step process. You must first upload your artwork to your profile, and then enter it into the exhibition. Simply uploading the work does not automatically enter it into the exhibition.

Remember to bring your artwork into the galleries if you enter the work online.
