The Victorian Artists Society is thrilled to welcome Ensemble Creatus as Artists in Residence for 2025, continuing our proud history of excellence in classical music. This program features Australian dramatic contralto Liane Keegan and pianist Toni Lalich.
Ensemble Creatus begin their VAS performances with a three concert series dedicated to the music of Ralph Vaughan Williams, one of Britain's most beloved composers. Set in the surrounds of the VAS Seasonal Exhibitions, immerse yourself in Vaughan Williams' art song filled with rich harmonies and profound storytelling that define his timeless works. Whether you're a lifelong music admirer or discovering his genius for the first time, this series promises an unforgettable musical journey.

Born in Australia, Liane received scholarships from the Opera Foundation Australia, Shell Royal Covent Garden Scholarship which enabled her to study at the National Opera Studio London.
Toni Lalich OAM has worked as an accompanist in Melbourne for the past 25 years, performing with professional singers and instrumentalists.
