This Echidna is a frequent visitor to our property, I sketched the animal whilst it was foraging for ants onto the Scratchboard with a white pencil, and the only problem was the ants like to bite as well! Completed project in the studio by etching with a knife. No colour was added.
Scratchboard is a great medium for animals, detail and detail.
