His drawings reflect the perspective of a new migrant—observing place with curiosity and care, he uses his works to build meaningful connections and dialogue with audiences.

Mr. Jiang was born in Changsha, China in 1951 and has been living in Melbourne since 2017. He graduated from the Graduate Program in Landscape Painting at the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts in his early years and later taught fine arts at Changsha Social Work College. He is widely recognized as a distinguished landscape painter in China. Living in Australia, Mr. Jiang continues to use his pen to observe and record the country’s beautiful and harmonious living environment and landscape.
