The Victorian Artists Society is committed to providing a safe and inclusive environment. Our leadership, staff, members and guests demonstrate respect and care for others in all VAS interactions.

Language or behaviour that constitutes bullying, harassment, intimidation, sexual misconduct or discrimination will not be tolerated. Incidents should be reported first to the Manager or a member of Council and will be escalated as appropriate. Individuals can be asked to apologise for unacceptable behaviour and may be required to attend a mediation or make amends before resuming VAS activities. Serious or repeated breaches of the code of conduct may result in individuals being asked to leave the Society.

By clicking "I agree" below, you are pledging to abide by this Code of Conduct and to preserve the safety and dignity of VAS leadership, staff, members and guests in every interaction.

In the event that you or another individual is made to feel unsafe, you agree to take appropriate action to best ensure your own safety and the safety of all involved and follow up with reporting of the incident.

You can read the full code of conduct here.

Acknowledgment of traditional owners.

We would like to pay our respects to the traditional owners of the land on which our building stands, their leaders, past, present and emerging.
