Charlotte Ivey

Charlotte Ivey is an artist from Aotearoa/New Zealand, currently based at 23a Studios in Brunswick, Naarm. She works across a range of mediums, specialising in abstract oil painting. She studied Philosophy of Art at the University of Canterbury and has a wealth of life experience in navigating creative industries and developing personal practice. Much of her recent work is led by influences of the body – such as the illusory nature of psychological states, and how they affect our experience of external environments. She is also increasingly influenced by Australian geology and flora.
