A local self-taught artist born and raised in Melbourne, in the vibrant landscapes of the Dandenong Ranges. I am inspired by local landscapes and the vibrant culture of my home city, which I attempt to convey in my work. Through my work, I aim to preserve the beauty and character of my local area, with bright colours and lively compositions to invite viewer to connect with a local perspective.
An emerging local artist working in a variety of mediums including oil, watercolour, pencil and acrylic. During my career as an artist, I studied a double degree in arts/science, where I majored in art history. I also completed a master's degree in Occupational Therapy Practice and worked as a community Occupational Therapist to assist those with disability. My art is inspired through growing up in the Dandenong Ranges and the experiences I have had in the city of Melbourne.
Within my work I use a realistic style with bright colours to convey vibrancy within various local and imagined landscapes. I am inspired by nature, and the emotions that it evokes in the viewer, to capture the character of a scenery and the impression it leaves.
