Bertrand B.
Bertrand is a Melbourne-based artist working primarily in oil, acrylic and pastel. His work explores realism, impressionism and contemporary cubism, drawing inspiration from people, nature, movement and everyday life. Alongside visual art, he also writes and produces music, embracing creativity as a lifelong pursuit.
Education
Introduced to art by his mother, who is also an artist, Bertrand developed his skills through self-directed learning, observation and regular practice. Although a career in technology led him away from art for many years, he has since returned to sketching and painting with renewed purpose. He holds a degree in Engineering and continues to develop his artistic practice through ongoing exploration and study.
