Peony flowers on a batik like background evoke the Peranakan/ chinoiserie culture of South East Asia. Peranakan covering the blending of cultures including local Malay, Chinese and Indian in South east Asia eg. Singapore and Malaysia manifesting in its unique food, home ware and fashion.
